Activities of Sugamya Digital volunteers:

• Volunteers spread awareness in Government, non-Government and corporate organizations about benefits of accessibility compliance to the individuals with disabilities by conducting sensitization talks.
• Volunteer assist academic institutions where more number of students with disabilities are studying and NGOs working for welfare of persons with disabilities to achieve accessibility compliance to their digital environments.
• Volunteers also assist organizations to make their workplace and work culture accessible for individuals with disabilities and support them for making equal opportunity employers.
• They provide guidance and counselling to students with disabilities, train them for the use of computer aided assistive technologies; assist them in installation, configuration and setting of various assistive technologies like screen readers, screen magnifiers, scanning and reading technologies, speech recognition technologies etc. on their devices.
• They provide help to the students with disabilities to create accessible course material in electronic and audio format. Help them in writing their exams as a scribe.
• Every year as a part of CSR activity, Sugamya Digital Foundation assists 5 organizations to make their website accessibility compliant. Such organizations should have a positive impact on the life of individuals with disabilities.

Sugamya Digital Foundation identify qualified girls staying remote area, impart job oriented professional skills and provide them internship, traineeship opportunities in Sugamya Digital solutions Pvt. Ltd. Many of them are absorbed in regular pay roll of the company. Thus, sugamya Digital gives remote working opportunities of highly qualified home maker women who could not otherwise do job due to their family responsibilities.

More than 70 % of Sugamya Digital associates are home maker women who are responsible for delivering quality projects of software testing of fortune 500 client’s.

More over Sugamya Digital Foundation impart job oriented skills in women with disabilities and help them in their employment in other organizations.

Sugamya Digital volunteers support for imparting computer and internet training programs for elderly and poor people specially farmers, construction labours, house keeping labours etc.

Volunteers of Sugamya Digital are keenly involved in planting wild native plants, watering and protecting them and responsible in creating green patches around Pune city.

We assist schools, colleges temples in creation of green patches.

Moreover, Sugamya Digital associates organize sensitization program in villages, schools and colleges about environmental conservation.

One of our initiative is to support champion of climate change awareness in their campaign.

Sugamya Digital Foundation is also assisting to farmers and individuals for cow breeding initiative.

Today most of the diseases are due to wrong life style and wrong diet. Hence, Sugamya Digital associates organize sensitization programs in schools, colleges, societies and villages about diet in various season, life style correction, living with nature etc. to prevent diseases and live healthy life.
